About the Author
Christina Georgina Rossetti was born in London on December 5, 1830. Along with being a young poet, Rossetti also became an Italian professor at King's College, University of London. Rossetti's intense devotion to religion showed in her various works, including ""Uphill,"" her most famous work. Overall, Rossetti did not publish much, but she did submit her first volume of poetry, Goblin Market and Other Poems. Christina Georgina Rossetti died in London on December 29, 1894.

this Dover Thrift Edition of poems by Christina Rossetti is compact,
easy to carry about and to read, rewarding momentary opportunities.
The title poem is not a favorite of mine, but many do admire it.
I prefer four short poems here: Remember, After Death, Song, and Uphill.
¶ This is one of several rewarding Dover Thrift Editions;

This was an excellent introduction to Christina Rossetti's poetry. I had planned on buying a book that contained the complete writings of Ms. Rossetti, and someone recommended this as a good introduction. I agree! These poems are for the most part enjoyable to read and digest.

Love this book!

These pages are filled with irony, humor, suspense and surprises that will help you rationalize the other great reason you are tearing through the pages...the crazy hot sex scenes. You don't have to be into women to appreciate the passion, intensity, and emotion that will take you right back to the first time you ever fell in love and thought you couldn't live without someone. If you don't remember what that was like and are in a dull lackluster boring committed relationship, be warned this book might just leave you longing and trolling for something real again. This book was so much fun to read, I woke up the next morning with a hangover singing the pina colada song, and I don't even drink.

Could not put it down

I absolutely LOVED this damn book. I read the first few pages then put it down, but when i came back i read it straight through. I swear i didn't put this book back til 5 am. The romance, the drama, and of course the sex, can you say whew. I laughed over this one, found myself getting hot and bothered on more than one occasion,and im straight. This is a GREAT read for anyone lesbian or straight.

I lost sleep reading this book because the suspense of one situation kept getting eclipsed by next. The characters were believable and the author did a great job of making the characters really come to life. I am not into girls, but this love story was still an excellent read.

About the Author
John J. Coyle is director of corporate relations for the Center for Supply Chain Research and professor emeritus of supply chain and information systems at Penn State University. His current research is focused on supply chain transformation and effectively measuring improved supply chain performance at the C level in an organization. A closely related topic that he is pursuing is reverse channels of distribution and their special logistical problems. The author of more than 100 publications in the areas of transportation and logistics, Professor Coyle has presented papers on these topics at professional meetings, including the Council of Logistics Management, the American Marketing Association, the National Academy of Sciences, the Transportation Research Forum, and the Southern Marketing Association. In addition to TRANSPORTATION, he also coauthors the best-seller THE MANAGEMENT OF BUSINESS LOGISTICS. From 1990 to 1996, Dr. Coyle was editor of the JOURNAL OF BUSINESS LOGISTICS, and he has served on the editorial review board of the JOURNAL OF BUSINESS LOGISTICS, THE SUPPLY CHAIN REVIEW, and THE INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION AND LOGISTICS. In 1991, he received the Council of Logistics Management's Distinguished Service Award, which honors individuals who have made a significant contribution to the art and science of logistics. In 2003, The Philadelphia Traffic Club named Dr. Coyle Person of the Year, and in 2004 he received the Eccles Medal from the International Society of Logistics and the Lion's Paw Medal from Penn State. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Penn State and his doctorate from Indiana University, Bloomington, where he was a U.S. Steel Fellow.

John Langley is Professor of Supply Chain Management and Director of Supply Chain Executive Programs at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Langley has been actively involved in supply chain management and business logistics for over 30 years. He is a former president of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and is a past recipient of the Council?s Distinguished Service Award. In 2004, he was honored as one of the profession?s top five logistics executives at the Richmond Events? Logistics & Supply Chain Forum; and in 2007, he was recognized as recipient of the Honorary Distinguished Logistics Professional Award by the American Society of Transportation and Logistics. Dr. Langley received a BS degree in mathematics, an MBA degree in finance, and a PhD degree in logistics management, all from Penn State University. Among his awards and recognitions, he was named ?Outstanding Alumnus? of the Penn State Business Logistics Program. Dr. Langley?s current areas of professional involvement include supply chain strategy, supply chain relationships, and outsourcing of logistics services. Dr. Langley has coauthored a number of books including SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT: A LOGISTICS PERSPECTIVE. Also, he is the lead author of the ANNUAL STUDY ON THIRD PARTY LOGISTICS: VIEWS FROM THE CUSTOMERS. Recent publications have appeared in major academic journals in the fields of logistics and supply chain management such as the JOURNAL OF BUSINESS LOGISTICS, INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION AND LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT, INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT, and LOGISTICS QUARTERLY. In addition to his university duties, Dr. Langley is a much sought after consultant and advisor to business firms and serves on the board of directors of UTi Worldwide Inc., Forward Air Corporation, and Averitt Express, Inc.

Brian Gibson is a professor of Supply Chain Management and a program coordinator for the Department of Aviation and Supply Chain Management at Auburn University. Previously, he served five years on the faculty of Georgia Southern University as Director of the Southern Center for Logistics and Intermodal Transportation. Dr. Gibson also has ten years? experience as a logistics manager for two major retailers. He is an accomplished faculty member who has received multiple awards for outstanding teaching, research, and outreach, most notably the Auburn University Alumni Association Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award in 2006. Dr. Gibson has coauthored more than 50 refereed and invited articles in the JOURNAL OF BUSINESS LOGISTICS, SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT REVIEW, INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT, INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION AND LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT, and other leading publications. He is actively engaged in executive education, seminar development, and consulting with leading organizations. Dr. Gibson currently serves in leadership roles for the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the Distribution Business Management Association, and the Retail Industry Leaders Association. Dr. Gibson earned a BSBA from Central Michigan University, an MBA from Wayne State University, and a PhD in logistics and transportation from the University of Tennessee.

Robert Novack is an associate professor of supply chain management in the Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University. From 1981 to 1984 he worked in operations management and planning for the Yellow Freight Corporation in Overland Park, Kansas, and from 1984 to 1986 he worked in planning and transportation at Drackett Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Novack's numerous articles have been published in such publications as the JOURNAL OF BUSINESS LOGISTICS, TRANSPORTATION JOURNAL, and THE INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION AND LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT. He also is a coauthor of CREATING LOGISTICS VALUE: THEMES FOR THE FUTURE. Active in the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, he has served as overall program chair for the annual conference, as a track chair, as a session speaker, as well as a member of numerous committees. Dr. Novack holds the CTL designation from AST&L and is a member of WERC. He earned a BS degree and an MBA in logistics from Penn State University and a Ph.D. in logistics from the University of Tennessee.

Edward J. Bardi is principal of Bardi Consulting and professor emeritus of business logistics at the University of Toledo. He also has served as acting dean and associate dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Toledo and has held faculty positions at Iowa State University. Dr. Bardi has published numerous articles dealing with business logistics, transportation management, carrier selection, economic development, and employee household goods movement in various journals, including TRANSPORTATION JOURNAL, JOURNAL OF BUSINESS LOGISTICS, HANDLING AND SHIPPING, BAYLOR BUSINESS REVIEW, INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION AND LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT, LOGISTICS & TRANSPORTATION REVIEW, and PERSONNEL JOURNAL. He also is co-author of SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT: A LOGISTICS PERSPECTIVE, 8e. A popular seminar leader of domestic and global business logistics management development programs, Dr. Bardi has served as a consultant to numerous business and public agencies in the areas of business logistics, marketing, and economic development. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from Penn State University, majoring in business logistics/transportation economics.

The book has mathematical mistakes and incorrect formulas.
Just went thru the first 7 chapters and found incorrect formulas for exponential smoothing, including several tables.
While the text content is OK, do not rely on the accuracy of the examples, especially if you are not familiar with the topic or concept.

Pretty good book on Logistics

The book does a pretty good job of going through supply chain and logistics. There are a lot of spelling and grammar errors and even some math errors in some of the charts, but it still gets its point across. Pretty expensive though.

Brilliant Book on Jung and Archetypes

This book explained so many things, basic elements of Jungian psychology, so clearly. I'm studying Jungian psychology at a university, a graduate program, and this book is one of the best I have read on the subject. I recommend it for everyone interested in Jung.

Solid Read

Femi's book is well organized, succinct, and easy to read. I love that he teaches both the theory as well as the python methodology. As someone with a math and programming background, I did notice some slight errors. However, nothing that detracted from the overall merit of the book. Definitely a solid read for someone trying to get into data science!

Great reference tool

This book is brilliantly done. I own and have used quite a few Pandas for 'x', Python for 'x' titles that go through the basics of the tool, but leave the reader without a clear understanding of the theoretical basis. Mastering Pandas, however, provides the all the necessary context. I used it to level up my skillset quickly while taking a data science course, and I found it invaluable. R users will be delighted to find that there are detailed comparisons between R and Pandas--you can port your knowledge quickly from one context to the other. I gave Mastering Pandas 5 stars because I find that while working, I tend to have it open to use as a quick reference tool.

Overall it was an OK read, but if your like me and have read Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens then that's all that you will be comparing this book to. The similarities throughout all 3 books were just too much for me, IMHO.
Now if you haven't read thoughtless I think you would love this series.

Finding her HEA!

Book 3 rounds out the story taking up right where we left off in book 2. I do think it would have been better written as one book instead of 3 but it kept me reading all the same. They’re all quick reads and once I started the first I couldn’t stop. I want to start off saying I really wanted to hate Avery because of the cheating but Eve Cates does such a great job writing her characters that I just had to love her in the end. In this one Avery has ended it with Josh and thinks that Dylan’s left her, even though he believes he’s texting her (her phone was stolen.) Avery thinks she’s lost Dylan forever.

I love that Dylan put Avery first and let her live her dream giving her the space she needed. This story has such a real life feel to it – Avery’s feelings are wavering at first and it takes her almost losing Dylan to realize he’s her happily ever after. I also thoroughly enjoyed the dual POV, it always manages to add a little something extra to a good series! Great serial and I’d recommend it. Can’t wait to read more from Eve Cates!

...A True Beauty, in every sense of the word.
I liked Averys character from the start.
It didn't take long to realize that she was just more than a girl following someone else's dream, despite her own.

Her boyfriend Josh, definitely loves and adores her....how can't he...`there's just something about her.

Dylan, Dylan, Dylan... too many thoughts to express how I, as a reader fell for him. Right from the start.

The author did a great job connecting the characters in the storyline.
I chuckled at times because of the off the cuff thoughts our main character thought, but did not say out loud.
Thanks to Dual P.O.V.

Love is messy. There are no guarantees. We cannot choose who our heart of hearts long for.

There is plenty of heat in this read.
It's not hardcore, but just enough to feel the passion. ;)

Yeah, Dylan is my Fantasy sure you will fell the same way!
